I am a Senior Lecturer in The Business School, RMIT University (Saigon South Campus, Vietnam), as well as HDR Coordinator and Designated Authority in the School, leading and mentoring both Ph.D. candidates and supervisors to pursue the university’s HDR priorities and contributing to developing school-specific HDR strategies.

I am also Stream Lead (Organisational Innovation Capability Advancement & Governance) of the Global Business Innovation ECP (Enabling Impact Platform) in RMIT Australia, and Co-Lead of the Managing Smart Transformation research cluster in RMIT Vietnam.

Prior to joining The Business School, I have been Lecturer in the School of Science, Engineering & Technology for three years, where I taught courses in computer science areas such as data science & machine learning, data structures & algorithms, user-centered design, and technology leadership.

I have received various research and teaching awards at RMIT University, including the 2016 RMIT Prize for Research Impact (Enterprise category) for my active engagement with the industry through conducting research, and the “Living RMIT’s Values” award in 2021 which recognised my contributions to growing the programs while maintaining excellence in research and teaching.

I am a Co-founding Member and Secretary of the Vietnam Chapter of Association for Information Systems (VAIS).

My teaching and research interests focus on the following areas, which are under the common theme of Digital Transformation:

  • Information security behaviours and management
  • Managing digital transformation
  • Adoption of emerging technologies

Dec 17, 2023 My research team has received the Tier 2 2024 - Thematic Research Grant (AUD 29,153) and the EIP Platform Activity Funding (AUD 3,000) from RMIT University for digital transformation research related to developing intelligent AI chatbots for one of the largest hospitals in Vietnam and for the restaurant industry.
Oct 30, 2023 Congratulations to my PhD candidate, Minh Bui Thi Hoang, for having successfully completed her PhD program!
Oct 6, 2023 I was delivering a workshop on ChatGPT applications for micro-sized and small-and-medium enterprises for citizens, business owners, and government officials for Ben Tre province in Vietnam.
Sep 30, 2023 I was delivering a workshop on digital transformation for citizens, business owners, and government officials for Quang Ngai province in Vietnam.
Aug 19, 2023 I received the 5 Years of Service certificate of recognition from RMIT Vietnam.
